S.I.R. = Statement of Intent to Register!
After you receive your provisional acceptance, you must reply to the colleges stating that you intend to accept the admission offer.  Once you "SIR", a deposit is required (fee waiver may apply for some students).  Here are links to each college system:
 
 
 
COMMONAPP:
Private colleges will inform you of the date through individual portals. Be sure to check the portals at least weekly.
 
CCC: California Community Colleges
Community Colleges do not need you to SIR.  Acceptance is automatic with a high school diploma.
 
CTE: Career-Technical Education/ Trade Schools
CTE / Trade schools do not have a SIR process.  The colleges usually assign you an outreach counselor who will walk you through the process via portals or emails.  
 
Military: 
The military does not have a SIR process.  You are assigned a recruiter who will walk you through the process via email and personal communications.
